The point is:
You beat the competition, or the competition will beat you!
Only the strongest companies with the best strategy will survive,
the weak ones will vanish.
In aviation we have a Darwinian competition. Win or die - that's the reality!
The success principles of the war in business are based on the principles of successfull military leaders like Clausewitz, Tsunetomo, Machiavelli, Musashi, Seneca, Sun-Tzu :
- Know your competition - he is not your friend.
- Know his strengths, his weaknesses, his fears.
- Know how to use these knowledge and act.
The whole art of (business-)war is based on deception.
Consequently, we should do, if an attack is possible, act as if it was impossible.
While we use our forces, we must seem inactive.
If we are very close already, we should give the enemy the impression that we were still far away. Are we still far away, we should make him believe, we were quite close.
- If the competition feels safe in all respects, be ready for him.
- If his strength is superior, evade the impact.
- If he tries to relax, do not grudge him rest.
- If his forces are united, split them
Attack the competition where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.
Be prepared and have a plan how to tackle competitors by using your knowledge about them.
Appear at points which the enemy must hasten to defend; march swiftly to places where you are not expected.
You can be sure of succeeding in your attacks if you only attack places which are undefended.
You can ensure the safety of your defense if you only hold positions that cannot be attacked.
Thus, what enables the wise and good general to strike and conquer, and achieve things beyond the reach of the ordinary, is knowledge about the enemy.
Corporate Intelligence, i.e., delivers you this advantage.
Avoid to rest if you took a difficult business position .
In markets in which you intersect, check out possible allies.
Do not linger in dangerously isolated positions.
In muddled situations, you must reconsider your strategies. In desperate position, you must fight.
Being sure of defeat, you need defense tactics. Being able to defeat the enemy, requires to be able to take the offensive.
These military statements, that lead to victory, should not be applied too early.
"Fortuna gives her favors to the swift, the consistent and sincere.
About everyone else takes Darwin care of."
assits you and your management to win the fight - to survive the Darwinian competition in aviation.
